Is this your first time to VIVE Float Studio?  If so, please watch the Introductory Float Video, followed by the Sign Your Waiver from the comfort of your home/hotel. NOTE: You will only need to do this one time!

Once you've watched the video and signed your online waiver in advance then you can arrive 10 minutes prior to the start of your appointment.

If you're unable to watch the Introductory Video or Sign your Waiver in advance then please arrive 30 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to watch/complete the appropriate video/waiver. NOTE: You will only have to do this during your introductory float.

All appointments are 75 minutes. Actual float time is 60 minutes with time before and after to shower. Please make sure to come early and/or stay longer to enjoy The Quiet Center for a pre or post-float time of relaxation, reflection and to enjoy our complimentary tea bar.

Your float in four steps, so you know exactly what to expect:

1. Meet and Greet

Show up at least 5-10 minutes (30 minutes if you haven't previously watched the video or signed the online waiver) before your float appointment to check-in. One of our staff members will assist you with a few onsite personal float options and answer any questions you may have, putting you totally at ease. If time is on your side we do encourage you to arrive earlier or plan to stay later to enjoy The Quiet Center and our signature 'relaxation' tea blend. This is a wonderful opportunity to enhance your pre/post float experience through relaxation, reading, or engaging in our stress-less coloring books available to you.

In addition, one of our team members will go over your music options should you decide not to go sensory-free at this time. You will decide between 2 options: option 1) An instrumental meditative music can be played throughout your session with the option to personally control the music from inside the room. Many enjoy this option because you can relax/unwind for a short time-frame to music and then turn the music completely off and enjoy the silence for the remaining session. Or option 2) This option, known as 'fade-out/fade-in', allows you to select up to 10 minutes of music in the beginning of your session prior to fading-out. Allowing you to enjoy silence during the middle of your session, ending your float with music that gently fades-in as you begin to wake up. This option is meant to slowly fade away, without personal involvement, leaving you with at least a full 40 minutes of uninterrupted, sensory-free bliss.

2. Before You Float

Prior to your float, you will place the provided, yet optional, ear plugs in and if necessary rub Vaseline ointment on any open wounds followed by a relaxing 5 minute shower in your private suite, washing with our complimentary signature shampoo and exfoliating with the provide washcloth and body wash from Oneka. When you are ready you will wipe any remaining water from your hairline/face area then step into the float room and slowly lie back. Your body will effortlessly float on top of the water.

3. During Your Float

When you begin, should you decide to use the studio provided music it will play for the duration of your float or a maximum of up to 10 minutes (remember, you select the time-frame) in the beginning of your session, while a soft glowing light will fill the float room until you decide to turn it off.  Once you've settled into a comfortable position, center yourself in the middle of the float room and breathe easily. Now is the time to relax in true peace and quiet. Feel your body unwind and allow your thoughts to flow naturally.

4. After Your Float

If you decided to utilize the optional music, the music will gradually fade-in and ease you out of your float. At the end of your float a soft light will come on letting you know that your float has come to an end.  Slowly rise from your float and enter the shower for a brief rinse, then remove your earplugs (store if you are/will be a returning client for the Client Recycling Program) followed by your cleansing shower to wash the remaining Epsom salt off your body with our provided Oneka shampoo, conditioner, body wash and a 50/50 vinegar/water ear wash.

If time allows and you can stay longer, slip into one of our provided signature robes and enter The Quiet Center for an additional recovery time over a cup of tea. If time doesn't allow you to stay longer, then get dressed and leave your private room. If needed, feel free to use The Ready Room to dry your hair or apply your makeup, while enjoying a cup of tea. Lockers are available in The Ready Room to store your things while you enjoy The Quiet Center pre or post-float or prepare to depart.

Enjoy your post-float glow for days to come! Your body will feel refreshed and invigorated. Make sure to drink plenty of water after you float. A consistent float practice has cumulative benefits, so be sure to book your next float before you leave.

Studies have shown that a person new to floating should commit to at least 3 floats

to find your float rhythm and comfort, maximizing the physical and mental benefits.
